I used to use sarcasm as a defense mechanism, but I think I maybe becoming a masochist [by using it too much to defend me from myself]

philosophy[!?!] of love [believe it or not]

I don't believe in love in first sight, because it is [seems/looks/sounds/etc] very superficial.

You just saw the girl [or the guy] and you fell in love? with what? her [his] look...!?! what would happen after say 10 years? the looks are gonna change and will you love the new look? maybe you will, or maybe you won't. Or maybe the definition of love is different and I'm overrating it.

However, I believe in "the one". How? you see someone and you like her [him] and you give it a shot. You work on it* and pursue the steps one after the other till you reach the "the one" state. If you fail midway, then she [he] wasn't the one. could you have tried harder to make it the one? maybe, or maybe not. anyway, I'm not the kinda person to make someone, something. or maybe I'm just lazy.
